Nestled on the shores of Lake Davenport, our 70-acre tropical paradise combines the comforts of home with the amenities of a full-service resort. This guidebook is your all-in-one resource for a smooth, relaxing, and memorable stay.

Parking Pass

  • Parking Pass: Provided at Security Gate upon arrival.
  • Parking: Free for all registered guests.
  • Large Vehicles: Boats, RVs, and trailers must use designated areas.

Air Conditioning and Heat

Each unit is owned independently. There may be several different types of thermostats. Most thermostats are fairly easy to understand, check with your host if you’re having any issues with the thermostat.  The temperature in the USA is in Fahrenheit.  

Most guests find it comfortable between 70-74.

Trash & Recycling

Recycling:

  • If you choose to recycle, please put all plastic, metal, paper, cardboard and glass items in a separate trash bag and discard in the special recycle container located on the first floor of the condo.
  • Place the bag in the corresponding bin as you leave.

Garbage / trash:

  • Put all your non-recyclable garbage in the trash container in the bins located on the first floor in the front of the condo.
First Aid and Safety
 

Smoke detector: The apartment has a smoke detector up on the ceiling.

IN CASE OF FIRE: Dial 9-1-1 immediately to reach the FIRE DEPARTMENT!

(9-1-1 = POLICE or AMBULANCE also)

First aid kit: There may be a first aid kit in the kitchen, please notify us if it’s been used or if it’s depleted.

Appliances & Equipment
 

Kitchen appliances & equipment : useful info.

Refrigerator / freezer: Please do not leave any food items in the refrigerator or freezer when you leave

Coffee maker: Each unit will have different types of coffee makers.  For Keurig, Fill with water up to indicated max level, place K-cup under the lid, put coffee mug in place, close lid, choose cup size & enjoy! Please dispose of used K-Cups. Remove drip reservoir for larger mugs.

For traditional coffee makers, fill with water up to indicated max level, place filter and coffee in the hopper, put coffee carafe in place, close lid, start the coffee maker.

Dishwasher: There are a starter pack of dishwasher pods provided. Please fill and start the dishwasher upon departure.

Oven / Range: Please dont forget to turn off the oven.

You will also find on location a kettle, a toaster and a microwave.

Other appliances & equipment in the condo:

TV: A remote control for the television is provided. Each unit will have various types of TV, the resort offers Spectrum TV for all units, you may download the Spectrum app and when you’re connected to the Wifi at the resort you’ll be able to get all of the channels. 

Washer / dryer:* You will find a starter pack of laundry detergent. Please remove lint from the dryer filter after each use.

Your condo may be equipped with a hairdryer, and an iron & board, check with your host.

Baby Equipment
 

Some condos are equipped with a high chair, a Pack and Play as well as kids’ dishware.

Please check with your host to confirm. 

Maximum Guests & No Parties
 

NO PARTY, reception, corporate event is allowed.

Any violation of this rule could lead to the immediate cancellation of the reservation.

The MAXIMUM NUMBER OF GUESTS present can’t exceed the maximum capacity of the apartment at all times.

MAX Occupancy is:

  • 6 for 2 bedroom units
  • 8 for 3 bedroom units.

During Your Stay

Your Condo
  • Spacious 2- and 3-bedroom layouts (1,116–1,700 sq ft).

  • Kitchen: Full appliances, cookware, utensils, coffee maker (Keurig or drip), toaster, microwave, dishwasher.

  • Laundry: Washer/dryer with starter detergent.

  • Comfort: Hairdryer, iron/ironing board.

  • Entertainment: Spectrum cable, Some units with Smart TVs and Spectrum streaming TV access.

  • Starter Kit: Soap, shampoo, paper products, dishwasher & laundry detergent.

  • Baby & Family: Many condos include Pack ’n Play, high chair, and children’s dishware (confirm with host).

Rules & Safety
  • Quiet Hours: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

  • No Parties: Condos may not be used for events or receptions.

  • Non-Smoking: Entire property is smoke-free except for designated outdoor areas.

  • Pets: Not allowed (except service animals).

  • Grilling: Only in designated BBQ areas.

  • Wildlife: Please do not feed local animals.

  • Emergency: Call 911. first aid kits may be in condos (not guaranteed). Security is on-site 24/7. Call front desk to reach security 863-547-1200 option 3 for front desk.

Pools & Recreation
  • Pools & Hot Tubs:

    • 4 heated pools, 6 hot tubs, children’s splash pad.

    • Gran Bahama Pool Hours: 7:00 AM – 11:00 PM.

    • Lakeside Beach & Pier Pool Hours: 7:00 AM – 10:00 PM.
    • Lucaya Loop and Rum Run Pool Hours: 8am until Dusk.
    • Towels are in your condo — bring them with you to the pool.

    • Swim at your own risk; no lifeguards.

  • Sports & Fun: Tennis, basketball, volleyball, pickleball, shuffleboard, table tennis, fishing dock, nature trails, library. Courts are available first come first serve, maximum of 45 minutes if someone is waiting.

  • Nature Trail:

    • Nature Trail is open 24/7/365.

Dining & Groceries
  • Local Dining Options: Your stay at Bahama Bay places you at the heart of Central Florida’s diverse dining scene. Indulge in authentic international cuisine, enjoy farm-to-table creations, or savor freshly caught seafood prepared with a local twist. With restaurants ranging from fine dining to relaxed eateries, every meal can become a memorable experience. Click here are a few recommendations.

  • Groceries: Publix 2424 Sand Mine Rd, Publix 17445 US-192, Aldi 9800 US-192, and Walmart 550 US-27, each are about 5 minutes away. 

  • Delivery: Uber Eats, DoorDash, and Instacart welcome.

  • BBQ Areas: Several gas and charchoal stations at the resort. Gas BBQ can be reserved by stopping by the front desk.

Transportation & Location
  • Disney World®: ~15 minutes (10 miles)

  • Universal Orlando™: ~30 minutes

  • SeaWorld® Orlando: ~25 minutes

  • Nearby: Golf courses, outlet shopping, restaurants.

  • MCO Orlando Airport: ~30 minutes

  • Rideshare: Uber, Lyft, and taxis are readily available.

  • Renting a Car: For the ultimate freedom during your stay, consider renting a car. Most guests prefer it, they enjoy the flexibility of coming and going on their own schedule while experiencing everything Central Florida has to offer,  from theme parks and shopping to charming local destinations.

  • Other Transportation: Busses and limos are available.

We will strip all beds and replace all linens before the next guest.  No need to make the bed.

Take the trash to the bins located in front of the condo on the first floor.

Please lock doors upon your departure.

Q: Can I check in early or check out late?
A: Available upon request, subject to availability and fees.

Q: What if I arrive after the office closes?
A: Contact your host or the resort for condo access instructions and pick up your parking pass the next day.

Q: Is luggage storage available?
A: Check with your host, this service will vary depending on your host.

Condos & Comfort

Q: Do Condos include and hairdryers, irons?
A: Yes, all standard.

Q: Is housekeeping included?
A: Condos are self-catering. Daily or mid stay housekeeping is not available.

Q: Are toiletries provided?
A: A starter kit is included; extras may be purchased nearby.

Q: Do condos have screened balconies?
A: Yes, every condo does offer screened balconies or patios.

Pools & Recreation

Q: Are pool towels provided?
A: Yes. Towels are stocked in your condo.  Please bring them to the pool and return them to the condo when done.

Q: Can I bring floats or inflatables?
A: Small swim aids are allowed; oversized rafts are not.

Q: Are lifeguards present?
A: No—swim at your own risk.

Dining & Food

Q: Can food be delivered to my Condo?
A: Yes, outside delivery services like Doordash and pizza delivery are able to deliver directly to your door.

Q: Is there a nearby grocery store?
A: Publix and Walmart are 5 minutes away.

Transportation

Q: How far is the resort from Disney?
A: About 15 minutes.

Q: Is parking free?
A: Yes, for all registered guests.

Q: Is shuttle service available?
We dont offer a shuttle from the resort. But transportation services are readily available, including Uber, Lyft, Limos, Taxis, and Shuttle services. We recommend taking a rental car so you can keep items in your car and go back and fourth making your visit to the theme parks more comfortable.

Families & Kids

Q: Do you provide Pack ’n Plays or high chairs?
A: Many Condos include them; confirm in advance.

Q: What activities are available for kids?
A: Splash pad, playgrounds, nature trails, beach, sports, fishing dock, and more.

Policies

Q: Are pets allowed?
A: Only registered service animals.

Q: Can I smoke on the balcony or patio?
A: No. Smoking is restricted to designated outdoor areas.

Q: How many guests can stay in a Condo?
A:

  • 2-Bedroom: Up to 6 guests

  • 3-Bedroom: Up to 8 guests

Q: How fast is the Wi-Fi?
A: Suitable for browsing, streaming, and video calls.

Q: Do TVs support Netflix or Disney+?
A: Yes, via Smart TV apps or with your device. Confirm with your host.

Q: Is cable included?
A: Yes, Spectrum cable is standard.
